PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 12, 2010 – August 12, 2010. Water Mill, New York: On Wednesday, August 18 from 9:00-10:00 pm (EST), Tweeple are invited to join the Macaroni Kid family for "Macaroni Manners Boot Camp” Twitter party. hashtag #mackidtips.
Moms will be sharing their questions and stories and special guests from the Protocol Institute (www.theprotocolinstitute) will be provide tips to help guide moms through those awkward childhood moments and advice on the tools kids need to navigate the ever-changing social landscape.
"The rules used to be clearer, and taught earlier,” explains Joyce Shulman, Macaroni Kid's Chief Macaroni Mom (@macaronikidHQ) . “We think there is tremendous value in providing kids with the etiquette skills and tools to improve their ability to handle new situations. Okay, and we thought sharing all of our kids’ faux pas would be fun.”
The party, sponsored by Universal Pictures and the upcoming Nanny McPhee Returns, will feature prizes, giveaways and plenty of laughs.
This will be Macaroni Kid’s fifth monthly Twitter Party. Previous themes have included “Parenting Tips in 140,” “Taking Care of Mama Bear,” “Out of the Mouths of Babes, Crazy Stuff My Kids Have Said” and “Macaroni Movies.”
The party will be hosted by Macaroni Kid Publisher Mom and blogger extraordinaire, Debby Perry, who is better known by her Twitter handle Supah Mommy (@supahmommy) .
