A Community Twitter Party Calling on Moms to Take Better Care of Themselves
April 26, 2010. Water Mill, New York: On Tuesday, May 11 from 9:00-10:00 pm (EST), Tweeple are invited to join the Macaroni Kid family for "Taking Care of Mama Bear in 140" -- characters that is. hashtag #mackidtips.
The Twitter community is invited to explore what stops moms from taking better care of themselves and to share tips for doing better... all in 140 characters or less. We will be joined by life coach, holistic practitioner and all-around great gal Janice Poloway of Mountain Trek (www.mountaintrek.com) and will feature prizes, giveaways and plenty of laughs.
"The importance of moms taking better care of themselves is a passion of mine,” explains Joyce Shulman, Macaroni Kid's Chief Macaroni Mom (@macaronikidHQ). “Virtually every one of us needs to do better and what better way to learn how then from the community of active moms you find on Twitter.” Macaroni Kid’s last Twitter Party, “Parenting Tips is 140” was attended by more than 100 participants and generated more than 2,000 tweets in an hour.
